Weaponry

The world of The Technosexual is far from a peaceful one, amazingly weapons technology has progressed at a relative snails pace compared to the speed of cybernetics research.
Most weapons platforms are traditional weapons mounted to more advanced delivery systems. Some advancements have been made however, but you'll find most individuals and organisations opting for traditional gun-powder operated projectile weaponry.
Weaponry outlined or described here may or may not appear in the comic itself, but do exist.

Projectile Weaponry

If it launches an projectile at high speed downrange that punches holes in things, it's probably a projectile weapon. How it launches the projectile is down to the weapon though.

"Guns"

"I have yet to meet person that can outsmart bullet."
Unknown NEEB Mercenary

Ranging from handguns, shotguns and SMGs all the way up to drone mounted and high-calibre vehicle mounted firearms, launching a chunk of lead at super sonic speeds with the aid of an explosion has been the preferred method of attacking your foe for hundreds of years. This fact is true to this day.
Globally, governments effectively gave up on firearms control after several nasty conflicts resulted in weapons flooding the consumer markets. They still try though, and certain types of weapon are still considered "illegal", where that line is differs from nation to nation, and situation to situation...

Gauss/Coil Guns

A coilgun uses a series of electromagnetic coils lining its barrel to launch a ferromagnetic projectile at super or even hypersonic speeds. Not commonly seen but enjoyed by some. Usually in rifle format, rarely in handgun format, the recoil can be nasty and often requires the touch of an augment to properly handle.
Their stopping power is near unparalleled, they do have a few notable drawbacks including charge time, firing lag, and the fact that a trained ear can hear the signature "coil whine" from a pre-charged weapon.
Development of the coilgun advanced rapidly after the introduction of advanced military grade cybernetic parts and armoured exosuits. Traditional small arms started to struggle...

ETK "Electro-Thermal Kinetics"

An ETK firearm is the marrying of a traditional gunpowder based firearm and a modern coilgun. Reducing the downsides of the coilgun by having the projectile initially launched in a more traditional method, then given an extra "boost" by the coils.
Less electricly intensive, they're a happy middle ground... but very expensive to manufacture so not particularly popular.

Railguns

The "big brother" of the coilgun, these beasts are found mounted to vehicles more often than not and are capable of launching very large projectiles very long distances.
Very rarely found mounted to exosuits or as ultra-long-range sniper rifles.
Attempting to fire a railgun from the hip will result in the user breaking both arms and whatever was directly behind them for several meters.

Self Propelled Projectiles

Missiles, Rockets, Torpedos, little beats a large explosive payload propelled by a rocket motor for destructive potential from a single user weapons platform.
Rocket motor technology has come on leaps and bounds resulting in highly efficient and incredibly powerful motors launching large payloads long distances with ease.
The explosive potential of payloads has also increased...

In the small-arms department Gyrojet technology also became more viable as rocket motor technology improved. Still not massively popular and rather expensive to manufacture, a Gyrojet weapon has large amounts of damage potential in a comparatively small form-factor.

Energy Weapons

Converts electrical energy into somehing painful, either for the target or the user. Not seen as frequently as their projectile counterparts. Various Military Industrial Complexes love them though, they're a massive money sink for weapons manufacturers.

Stun Gun/Electric Prod

Stunguns are simple devices. Two metalic probes pressed against or launched into a target resulting in a high-energy capacitor discharging into them at an extremely high frequency.
For organics this will often disable most muscle groups, temporarily incapacitating the targets.
For cyborgs, particularly more heavily augmented ones "Stun" weapons can burn out circuits and disrupt control software causing more serious damage to the target.
Usage of electic stun weapons against cyborgs is considered a hate crime in most nations. Given the difficulty of determining if someone is organic or cybernetic at a glance these days the sale and usage of electic stun weapons has sharply declined.
Stunguns can be carefully tuned to be less (or more) lethal to cyborgs, however. Most manufacturers don't bother with this though.
Some cyborgs opt to have stun weaponry integrated into their augmented limbs for self defense purposes, especially nowadays.

Energised Plasma Launcher

A generally disliked form of energy weapon, massive powercells superheat and accelerate a compressed gas discharge into a "plasma bolt".
Highly destructive with potential to burn, set fires and disrupt cybernetics of anything it hits.
However, they take an age to charge, overheat easily, use ludicrous amounts of power and have the occasional bad habit of literally self destructing.
In military circles units assigned to vehicles with mounted plasma weapons will often ask to be reassigned.
Only a complete lunatic would attempt to use a plasma launcher hand-held...

Directed Energy Beam

"What idiot designed this thing and why have I been assigned to use it!?"
Corporal [REDACTED], 4th Armored Division (Western Republic People's Army).

If Plasma Launchers are disliked, DEB's are genuinely despised.
Highly experimental they use a special type of energy cell that allows a highly focused, highly intense beam of [REDACTED] to be formed.
Primarily causing heat damage, these weapons can reduce a Class 8 Exosuit to a pile of hot slag in [REDACTED] seconds.
However, the wind-up time is atrocious, the energy usage is ludicrous, and they burn out after less than a minute of continued discharge. At least they don't randomly explode like Plasma Launchers...

Chemical

The direct application of a chemical compound as a weapon, frowned upon or outright illegal in most cases.

Pepper Spray/Tear Gas

Various forms of irritant compound deployed either from an aerosol spray or as a gas from thrown or launched canisters.
Highly effective against organics and some cyborgs the "Pepper Spray" can has been a go to for personal defense for hundreds of years. Temporarily blinding the target.
Military and police grade Tear Gas is either launched from high pressure sprays or in the form of a launched canister. Often used to disperse protest groups.

Neurotoxins

Globally illegal, doesn't stop some governments from using them.
Chemical compounds usually delivered gaseously, they attach themselves to neuroreceptors in the brain and disable the target(s), often fatally.

Incendiaries

White Phosphor, Napalm, [REDACTED], all manner of nasty substances designed to combust upon contact with air and stick to targets. Delivery method unimportant.
Considered illegal globally, governments tend to stick to this one, some criminal elements do not though.

Misc

Fragmentation Grenades/Mines

Small metal or plastic container filled with an explosive compound, detonates either on a timer, impact or proximity depending on the type of grenade and delivery method.

Electromagnetic Pulse

The EMP has been known about for a long time and is useful for disabling or "stunning" drones, exosuits and cyborgs. Usually launched in a grenade housing or deployed as a mine.

Nuclear Weaponry

Incredibly the crationcreation of supernations has resulted in the global community getting together and finally agreeing to launch all their nuclear warheads into the sun.
Fissile material still exists, and some terrorist groups have been known to attempt the deployment of dirty bombs.
There are no remaining nuclear reactors in operation that can create the correct type of material at the scale for an actual fission explosive weapons program.
