Leon was always a tinkerer, even from a very young age. As soon as he could hold a screwdriver he was taking things apart (and sometimes putting them back together too).

Neurologically augmented at a young age to counter serious absence epilepsy. Leon had a "Sympathtic And Parasympathetic Moderator" implant installed to counter this. Often referred to colloquially as a "Neurological Circuit-Breaker" (or Breaker-Box) the SAPmod can rapidly detect an epileptic "aura" in a patient and instantly cuts the neurological links associated with seizures. This has the slightly unpleasant side effect of the patient experiencing the feeling of "jumping forward in time". The patient, however, will not experience a grand-mal seizure because of the implant. This greatly reduces the likelihood of serious secondary injury.

He initially started working with computers and networks, however his childhood fascination with his own implant resulted in him getting trained as a "Cybernetics Technician", and picking up a few additional light augmentations electively to help with his work.

The second wave of strong anti-augmentation beliefs among the general public seriously dented his work however. Not appearing outwardly augmented he was able to pass as unmodified and returned to working on computer systems.
He missed the work he had been doing though, and felt guilty about "abandoning" his clients when he closed his workshop.

Leon joined The Technosexual to do just that, help people that needed it. With an exclusively augmented staff, having an on-site tech was essential. Leon fit the bill perfectly.
If there isn't any cyborg maintenance being performed he will either work on spare parts or tend bar, a task for which he has a great passion.
Generally portraying a cheerful and "bubbly" personality, you know when things are serious when he drops into a more "subdued" register.
